This work presents a low phase noise push-push oscillator using a simple microstrip line resonator structure. A combination of series-feedback and shunt-feedback sub-oscillator is used. The Series feedback oscillator provides low phase noise, while the parallel feedback enhances the signal power. The oscillator exhibits superior phase noise performance at the second harmonic frequency and the fundamental frequency signal is suppressed.
