In this research, shochu waste-derived activated carbon is applied to electrode materials of electric double layer capacitors. Capacitances of electric double layer capacitor is related to activated carbon which is an electrode material, and it is influenced by specific surface area and pore structure of activated carbon. In this experiment, we focused on the temperature condition at the time of production of activated carbon and we investigated the temperature characteristics at the time of production of activated carbon using a thermal analyzer.
