Wireless power transfer systems have attracted a lot of attentions, in applications of charging cell phones, lap top PC and electric vehicles. The authors have applied the systems to automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) to improve operational efficiency.In this paper, it is confirmed that a wireless power transfer system with linearly arrayed coils for charging AGVs and reveals power transfer characteristics, depending on number of turns of coils and structures of yoke by the simulation, so report it.
