In this study, titanium mesh and shochu waste activated carbon are used as cathode materials for magnesium air fuel cells. Shochu waste activated carbon has been shown to be an excellent conductive material in previous studies. Then, we focused on the thickness of the titanium mesh. The current density, voltage, and power density characteristics were measured at different thicknesses of 50 μm, 178 μm, and 220 μm, and at different water contents of sodium polyacrylate. The highest power density of the titanium mesh with a thickness of 220 μm was higher than that of 50 μm and 178 μm.
