The object of this paper is to investigate the relations between farmers' life and their health, and also diseases and medical expenses, surveying medical expenses in terms of their national health insurance classified by diseases. The samples and methods are the same as those used in Parts 1-3.
Results and conclusions :
1) Most of the families that have patients who have had high average points of medical fee for a long term, belong to the lower income rank. The pressure of chronic diseases seems to be heavy on their household economy. On the average the farmers whose income heavily depend on side jobs get high points of medical fee and need many days of treatment for their diseases.
2) The results of the study show us the possibility to foresee the kind of farmers' diseases, the best time to treat their diseases, factors to cause diseases, etc., which will contribute to maintaining good health and reducing medical expenses in household economy.
