Abstract

This report deals with the methods of preparation and standard evaluation of some sample of gases, such as NO2, SO2, H2S, Cl2, NH3 and CO2 that can not be prepared by use of their vapor pressure. As the standard method, diazotizing method for NO2, p-rosaniline formaldehyde method for SO2, methyleneblue method for H2S, o-tolidine method for Cl2, Nessler method for NH3 and barium hydroxide method for CO2 were adopted. The results obtained from the present standard evaluation method were in good accordance with those obtained from the experiment using Kitagawa's detector tubes, and the evaluated values did not vary with the lot number of detector tubes.
