Abstract

The removal method of NO₂ from waste gases by NH₃ was investigated. A high level of removal efficiency was gained by mixing of NH₃ and NO₂ in gaseous phase or by the washing with aqueous ammonia. As small particles of ammonium salt becomes a lot of white smoke, its removal must be taken for this method.
