Abstract
Bactericidal effects of electrolysis were studied on sea water in relation to its use for swimming pool. From the experimental results it has been revealed that an electrolyzed sea water at 15 m amp., 6.2V, for 8 mins. was effectively bactericidal for marine bacteria. Futhermore, the total expense for this method is roughly estimated at 5% of that so far used for chlorine disinfected water.
