This paper reports the methodology and verified results of an “Early Exposure to the Pharmacy Profession” workshop conducted by combining face-to-face and remote learning to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The workshop hours were expanded as an alternative to the students visiting the hospital and pharmacy. By utilizing digital technology to provide opportunities for collaborative learning, the students maintained their concentration and participated in discussions with students taking remote courses. While reaffirming the importance of physically present, face-to-face learning, the results of the post-workshop questionnaire also revealed an improvement in the provided education with students making comments such as “It was good to be part of the workshop” and “The workshop was useful for subsequent learning.”
