Individual dose monitoring has been carried out using TLD to assess the radiation exposure to radiotherapeutic staff during the interstitial implants with ^<226>Ra-needle, ^<198>Au-grain and ^<192>Ir-hair pin and/or single pin for oral carcinoma. The results measured wiith TLD were expressed as specific exposure in terms of mR per mCi x min. to compare the exposure from each implant. The skin doses for the operater and the assistant during both ^<198>Au-grain and ^<192>Ir source implants were about one thirds of ^<226>Ra-needle implants on the left forefinger, chest and abdomen respectively. Particularly the skin dose with ^<192>Ir source was successfully lower than the dose with ^<226>Ra-needle by the effect from afterloading system.
