As a result of digital image processing, radiographic images are processed. Four different processed radiographs are produced, which have respestively flat responses up to spatial frequencies 2,4,8 and 16 lines/mm. The first two images have good image quality, and the last two are rather noisy because of high frequency enhancement, but facts concerning high frequency enhancement are still not clear, detail are still clear. Digital processing of the MTF of a radiograph is very useful.
