The measured values of the regional cerebral blood flow (r-CBF) changes by using a certain of measurement and data analysis methods. We studied the quantitative analysis of r-CBF using the CT 9800 Xenon CBF Imaging System with a stable Xenon. The values of r-CBF are influenced by several input factors, i.e., the numbers of baseline scans, the image numbers of enhancement scans, the hematocrit values and smoothing methods. Using the acquired data from 20 patients, we evaluated the infuluences of those input factors. In the result, no significant difference in each of the mean values exested, the changes of those input factors produced variations of 1 to 10% in the calculated r-CBF. It is important for clinical estimations of r-CBF to recognize the fundamental parameters of the apparatus.
