抄録
The geology in this area consists of such soft rocks as mudstone, sadstone, tuff and many crashed zone that landslides and collapses of a precipice has happened so freguently. For the purpose of the prevention of these disasters we surveyed thoroughly the geology and selected the root of the double line.
This new line has resulted in boring of six tunnels (l=2660m, 1570m, 11355m, 3596m, 1055m and 3025m in length). It is anticipated that these tunnels pass through the swell ing rocks and strata with confined water and gar. s
The writer mentions the correlation about the geology as above mentioned with engineering works.
