抄録
In this paper, we classified free time outing activities of people in advanced age into four types, such as independent type, participation type, accompanying type and visiting type. It is clarified that each type shows different characteristics in space and outgoing sphere. Furthermore, it is obvious that the outgoing spheres of the elderly are almost concentrated within one kilometer (walking sphere) from their own home. Based on this understanding, it is indicated that the completeness of setting public facilities within walking sphere will play important roles on promoting free time outing activities of people in advanced age.
