This paper contributes to leadership study that focus on materiality and discourse. I demonstrate how are discourse and materiality constituted each other and how that mutual constitute influence on leadership. Through the case study of fair-trade project, three findings were obtained about mutual constitute and leadership; (1) materiality play a major role in discourse is retrospectively understood and new discourse is constructed, (2) on the other hand, new discourse bring about a change of materiality and material relationship, and (3) leadership is the phenomenon that emerge as these interconnections are integrated towards achieving organizational objectives.
