KNIVES (Keio University Network Integrated Versatile Energy saving System) is an IT based system, designed for Japanese power grids, that supports efficient control of electric power demand and keeps a balances between power demand and supply. KNIVES terminal has temperature, humidity and illuminance sensor for saving power consumption with considering environmental affinity. In this paper, KNIVES is introduced briefly. Continuously, both in-house experiment using environmental sensors including a current meter and in-classroom experiment using environmental sensors including a CO_2 sensor are discussed.
