We present a method which can evaluate mechanical character of HUVEC/MSC spheroids. It is known that the size of HUVEC/MSC co-cultured spheroids change as culture time increases. In order to measure reaction force of spheroids, we applied whole chip deformation mechanism as an actuation method of on-chip probe. Firstly we fabricated robot integrated microfluidic chip (robochip) which contains on-chip probes and force sensors. Secondary, we measured the reaction force and deformation ratio of HUVEC/MSC spheroids. Finally, we calculated the stiffness-index form reaction force, deformation ratio and spheroid size. The results indicates that the stiffness-index increased along the culture day increases.
