In the case of driving of the car, we want to avoid having a minor collision with walking pedestrian. In order to avoid having a minor collision, there are many studies to detect walking pedestrians and warn to driver using on-board camera or the sensor for measuring distance. However, these systems may lead an accident because of these can give many information to driver. Therefore we suggest the method that distinguishes the risk of the walking pedestrians by detecting a pedestrian and pedestrian’s face. In this paper, we reported about the detail of the method and result of the experiment.
