This paper proposes a subcutaneously-implanted device to induce muscle contraction by stimulating a peripheral nerve system. The implanted device is composed of a secondary coil of a wireless power supply device and a couple of needle electrodes with barbs. The electric power is wirelessly transferred from a primary coil located outside of a body to the secondary one. In experiments with rodent models, the contraction of the tibias muscle is observed, when an electric power is supplied to the primary coil.
