In recent years, some studies have been conducted on algorithms to construct various shapes autonomously using a large number of Kilobot. Such researches need to use many KILOBOT, external power sources by power lines are not realistic, therefore it is inevitably driven by batteries. However, charging and maintenance of batteries of many robots is not easy from the viewpoint of cost. To overcome this issue, we made a prototype of an ultra-compact wireless power supply system, which makes the operating time practically infinite, and we performed rudimentary operation testing. As a result, it was determined that a sufficient power supply to operate a single KILOBOT can be achieved.
