For elderly people, walking is considered as the essential capacity to spend quality life independently. Therefore, many studies have made from various aspects. The present study investigated how trunk posture influenced lower limbs during walking. We studies 10 elderly people and 5 young people as the subjects. We determines trunk posture system and movement of lower limbs using a motion capture. Consequently, a correlation between trunk posture and extension angle was clarified. In addition, we found out that extension angle of elderly people is narrower compared to young people. We found that trunk posture and age are not related to flection angle.
