In this study, we analyzed dynamic characteristics of dielectric elastomer actuator (DEA) with pre-stretch by applying water pressure. The driving system which uses water pressure is able to apply pre-stretch in the out-of-plane direction, so this system can be applied for driving not two-dimensional but three-dimensional DEA. In this system, when we change the system parameters such as length of hose and thickness of elastomer, the dynamic characteristics of DEA with water pressure changes. However, the details of the effects on dynamic characteristics are not well understood. Therefore, we composed a physical model of DEA with water pressure to analyze the dynamic characteristics and compared the experimental values of the frequency response by using the model with the simulation results.
