We developed a device to reproduce malignant transformation caused by nutrient deprivation inside a cancer cell aggregate on the outside of the aggregate where it can be easily observed. We modified the fabrication method of the nutrient-supplying alginate gel fiber so that it could be fabricated inside the device, which facilitated the assembly of the device. The effect of the change in the fabrication method of the nutrient-supplying alginate gel fiber on the cell culture was investigated, and it was confirmed that the ingredient of the alginate gel fiber does not affect the survival rate of the cell.
