This study will constract a Kansei database from the mental image that consumers might have with tombs.With the database, customers' taste for tomb will be able to change into CAD/CAM data efficiently.Research for the structure of image of tombs should make clear the image for product design and reference of goods.For the resource of research, we took questionnaire of image and taste for 9 samples of tomb for 75 subjects. The results of Principal Component Analysis and Cluster Analysis showed that it could extract some image words 'traditional''simple' of differences between 9 samples of tomb. At the end, we got the list of image reduced from 250 words to 19 important words.
