This thesis mainly discusses on how to design a bus sign-post system which is more convenient for passengers. I took main bus terminal in Fukuoka as my research subject and studied the sign-post system. I conducted follow-up experiments to learn the actual utilization situation of the system. I also give out question sheets to passengers to find out their feelings towards the sign-post system. The result shows that the present sign-post system lacks comprehensive introductory sign-post and it is difficult for passengers to find the corresponding bus when there is no clear indication to show the relations between the destination and name of a certain bus route.
