This thesis investigates into the system of vocational education in Germany. Specifically it inquires as to how the traditional wooden technique is handed down to the yuunger generation. There is a peculiar meister system in Germany, They think that basic handwork is important and the systems of Apprentice, Craftsman, and Master are recognized in public. The main vocational education is done at vocational training schools. Students undertake the job training in companies for three-quarters of a term, which is required for graduation. They take over courses in the remaining term. This thesis presents the system of vocational education in Hesse.
