The belief in the Gods of Wealth is a special culture produced by economic progress, and it is circulated through generations through the legend of the Gods of Wealth. This study applied the metaphor design of cultural and creative commodities; its target category was wallets, including long wallets, short wallets, and coin purses, and it chose 5,196 pieces of wallet merchandise on PINKOI, a design e-commerce platform. The source category was the belief in the Gods of Wealth, including the legend of the Gods of Wealth, and the study used document analysis to analyze the one-hundred-and-fifty luck artifacts collected by Taiwanese feng shui master Yizhen Huang. It then constructed the features and relationships corresponding to wallet design and the legend of the Gods of Wealth, and implied cultural elements in the wallet products in order to design three kinds of wallets with the cultural meaning of the Gods of Wealth: long wallet (Wallet of Martial Arts and Nine), short wallet (Wallet of Treasure), and coin purse (Purse of Toad and Wealth). The three wallets would be useful products that could be carried around and bring luck and fortune.
