抄録
The unit of burning was taught to 117 science students of grade 6 of an elementary school using constructivist teaching for a period of two months. The result showed substantial improvement in the factual knowledge of the students but it does not correspond equally with the quality of reasoning. It was concluded constructivist learning offers broader vision to the subject to the learner and helps in overcoming his/her "intuitive concepts" effectively.
