Creating Problems ―Asking students to create new problems-increases interest in mathematics, encourages creativity, and helps students appreciate, the usefulness of mathematics. This method has been used and tested in two different settings ― by students in my classroom and students in a mathematical circle. I describe the method used for the creation of these problems and their assessment. Students not only made posters including their problems, but also presented them and assessed each other. Then I will share some examples of my students’ actual work.
