基礎知識：認定制度筆記試験問題の解説とポイント整理─HLA分子の役割編─

The written examination, administered by the Certification System Committee of the Japanese Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (JSHI), is a compulsory requirement for candidates aspiring to become HLA laboratory technologists, educators, and histocompatibility directors. This examination aims to enhance and sustain proficiency and knowledge of histocompatibility testing. Annually, mock examinations are conducted during the conference. The technologist training course, presented as an educational lecture at the conference, offers detailed explanations of “special questions”─those with a correct answer rate below 40%─from the previous year’s mock exam. This article provides the text for that session. In examining this year’s questions with low correct answer rates, it was observed that fundamental topics in “HLA science”, such as the structure and function of HLA-related molecules, once again exhibited notably low rates. Consequently, this year, we have focused on seven basic questions that require comprehension, and we provide commentary on the intent behind these questions and the key points for correct answers. We hope that this will facilitate the organization of related knowledge.
