コミュニティFMの使命と日本の現状に関する一考察

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the present conditions of the Community FM radio station (hereinafter referred to as the CFM) in Japan and to offer viewpoints for regional policy. For example, the mission of CMF when the earthquake occurs is to broadcast necessary information for the inhabitant. However, this study forecast that the condition of the management of CFM was different according to the difference of an economical condition of the area where radio station was located. CFM was classified into four types by the result of the questionnaire concerning the management money source. The management is comparatively steady to CFM which obtains fiscal resources from the enterprise of the area, however, the management of other CFM is unstable. In these types, except the first type managements of CFM are unstable. Financial support to CFM of unstable management is important regional policy for the safety of the inhabitant of the area.
