The behaviors of color mixture on color halftone printing are too complicated for many unsolved problems to be made clear yet.
There are only few experiments on the influence of additive mixture of colors, especially in highlight part. This experiment comprehends the fixture of relationships between halftone printings of two-color overlaps and Maxwell disk considered as the means of additive mixture of colors, and the perceptual evalvation.
The values of physical measurement are checked over two-color overlap printing and Maxwell disk by color difference meter to get the difference in hue.
In view of the perceptual value, HVC value of Maxwell disk differed extremely from that of color halftone printing against the same percentage.
