We proposed an estimation method of cooling capacity, to realize the onsite performance verification conveniently without flow rate data of air and refrigerant, on inverter-drive package air conditioners (PAC). This method was evaluated by comparison with experimental equipment (Cooling capacity of 2.8kW). As a result, it was confirmed that this method could estimate the cooling capacity of refrigeration system in about 16% of the precision. And, this method applied the PAC system (Cooling capacity of 16.8kW). We considered the technical subject of this estimation method of cooling capacity, form a viewpoint of onsite performance verification of inverter-drive PAC.
