Abstract
In the programs which produced good results for the organizations or societies in these days, it is noticed that the leaders themselves had originated the visions or the goals of the programs. Such kind of projects/programs were not always initiated to be aligned with organizational objectives and customer needs, but initiated on the individual leaders' strong visions and goals, and were led by themselves. They are pro-active programs and not reactive or passive ones. In this paper, the importance of leaders and of their personal PM is discussed for the effective project management results.
