Abstract
Agile development method has been attracted attention as new software development method in current few years in Japan. However the ratio of applying Agile development method in Japan is still lower than in the U.S. and Western countries. This is because Water whole method has been matured and standardized development method in Japan One of the main reasons seems to be the difficulties of contract management consisting two major types of contract such as full-turn-key with fixed price based general contract and entrusted contract that contractor has no responsibility for outcome. This research shows an effective model of contract for Agile development method observing the contract model called "Information system model of trade contract" by MITI (Minatory of International Trade and Industry) and "A Proposed of Contract Model for Agile Development" by IPS/SEC (Information Processing Society). It also proposed a New Agile Contract model with some article for the contract. It aims to reduce time, cost and uncertainty of quality for contract management on an Agile development project.
