Abstract

In this study, we implemented a promotion of the railway use as Mobility Management targeting households living around the specific station. Targeting the households living around the station may be easier than targeting the workplace or school because people need to consider only the way to change their behavior from car use to railway use. As results, the frequency of railway use of the households using the railway already was increased. And distance of car use of the households using the railway already was decreased for 30% by TFP with free tickets of public transport. These results support a notion that mobility management targeting households living around the station would be effective to promote public transport use.
