In this paper, we analyze two cases in high-tech device industry to study the performance excellence of enterprises. These two cases are both on a venturing of developing, manufacturing, and sales of high-tech products and they are very similar in the sense of their industry field and layer, or their product area, function, and category. The comparative analysis was done in the standpoint of relationship between the phase and the characteristics of knowledge evolution and those of organization evolution for both cases. The result implied the significance of “co-evolution” based on matching and mutual enhancement between them for business progress/success. Also the different mode of co-evolution in the two cases indicated that deep insight on “co-evolution” process, based on the characteristics of dominant knowledge, is needed for advancing performance of each enterprise.
