Through an orthodontic re-treatment case report, this article explains the procedure of brackets positioning with the CLASS System, using the Set-Up Model Maker (SUM), and Occlusal Plane Reference (OPR). The self-ligating brackets and Smart Cap transfer tray system were used. The treatment was carried out with CLO Technique (Custom-made Lingual Orthodontics).

What considerations should be made before an orthodontist proposes orthodontic treatment for adult patients? It is improbable to expect growth of the jaw bone for adults and there may be more carious, restored, or missing teeth in adult patients than in young patients.Periodontal disease may compromise the esthetic result in adult orthodontic treatment and may pose more serious complications possibly.destroying the integrity of the entire dentition..In addition, there is a report in which the incidence of periodontal disease for adult patients is higher than that for young patients; 79.6% of patients between 45 and 64 years old suffer from periodontal disease.
This article will discuss guidelines from the periodontal perspective.to evaluate the treatability of periodontally compromised adult orthodontic patients.

In recent years, orthodontic treatment with mini-implants as absolute anchorage has become popular rapidly. Above all, orthodontic anchor screw can be implanted by orthodontist in various sites of alveolar bone in the upper and lower jaws. Surgical procedures are relatively simple, and also minor post-operative pain is reported. In this paper, the history of regulatory approval of orthodontic anchor screw, clinical application so far and the latest research about the optimal length of the anchor screw that takes into account the safety and stability, are described.

A male patient aged 23-years-4-months presented Angle Class Ⅱ malocclusion with maxillary high canine on both sides. The lingual arch treatment has advantage in crowding case and high canine case.
The patient was treated with lingual bracket(0.018 × 0.025 slot, Kurz 7th/Ormco/America) and lingual arch for maxillary canine distal movement.
Active treatment time was shorter 30 months by using lingual arch. After 25 months of retention the patient presented a stable occlusion.
