Studies on the properties of air-entrained concrete using five different agents which are now in common use in Japan are presented. It is concluded that; (a) the proportion of the air entrained concrete to obtain the desired quality is almost the same for Vinsol, Protex, Darex and Spuma except the amount of agent to be used; (b) Pozzolith as an air-entraining agent is very advantageous in some cases of mass concrete.
