Negative pressure wound therapy is one of the effective tools for the treatment of surgical site infection on abdominal wall. However, if the wound is close to stoma, it is difficult to introduce both the stoma pouch and drape film for NPWT without leakage because of the limited area to attach both devices. This complicates wound management adjacent to a stoma. We introduced the tape for soft silicon fixation, and both of the drape film and stoma pouch made it possible to affix it easily. This method enables us to manage NPWT and the stoma independently, which is also useful economically.
