    There are no sensors, which satisfy all conditions such as flexibility, stretch, thinness and low cost although there are various sheet type pressure sensors. We have developed a new type of pressure sensor using the compression property of textile. We have already evaluated the response characteristics of the textile sensor.
    This report shows the result of experiment about the static compression durability and recoverability of the textile sensor. About the static compression durability, the compression pressure decreased with an increase of the compression time of compression pressure. And the decreasing ratio of detectable pressure became small at large detectable pressure. The static compression recovery was performed when the compression time was short. However, this property was not recovered when the compression time was large.

    In this study, a clothing comfort of straight jeans with different rize size was evaluated by only tactile sensation of male university students in their twenties during the squatting position. And clothing pressures at the knee, thigh and hip points were measured by the air-pack sensor system. The relationship between the sensory values for clothing comfort and clothing pressures at four points was studied by means of the correlation analysis. The results are as follows. (1)Sample(+2cm) whose rise size was longer than the standard sample was evaluated “comfortable” by them, (2)The “comfortable” feeling has a negative correlation with “tenseness and tightness” feelings at the knee point and the “tenseness” feeling at the inner thigh point. (3)The clothing comfort of straight jeans evaluated by them was affected by the clothing pressure at the inner and front of thigh.
