Water consumption data from water smart meters will be able to utilize for water demand management and enhancement of user services. We conducted a questionnaire survey on the acceptance and thoughts of users regarding the following issues; flexible tariffs, visualization of water usage, and data provision and use for services utilized smart-metering data. Because more people gave positive evaluations, the potential for implementation is high. In addition, the acceptance and its reasons are different for seasonal and time-of-day rate systems. Therefore, the implementation and communication with users should be done separately.
