Analytical methods of pesticides depend on the properties of substances and require complicated pretreatment processes. Therefore, it took so long time to analyze pesticides that there was a risk that appropriate water treatment couldn't be performed when water pollution accidents occurred. In this research, due to simplifying and automating pretreatment processes, two rapid simultaneous analytical methods for pesticides were developed using SPME-GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS. Using these methods, it is possible to detect 196 pesticides and quantify 147 pesticides in about 2.5 hours (The accuracy is 50-150 %. The coefficient of variation is under 30 %). As a result of development of rapid analytical methods, the ability to deal with water pollution accidents was improved.
