In the present study, antihistamine-, antiacetylcholine- and antibarium-effects of the 10% warm-infusion from commercially available powders consisting of MaKyo-Kan-SeKi-To and MoKu-Boi-To were examined through a magnus's method using the isolated guinea-pig's intestine, deferent duct, lung and bronchus. The results obtained were summerized as follows.
Each warm-infusion from Makyo-Kan-SeKi-To and MoKu-Boi-To has possessed in the experiment used the bronchus, low antihistamine- and antiacetylcholine-effects, in the intestine a high antihistamine-effect but not antiacetylcholine-effect, and in the deferent duct a low antiacetylcholineeffect but not antihistamine-effect. And also, only the warm-infusion from MoKu-Boi-To has shown a low antibarium-effect in the experiment used the lung.
