Even though scenarios are the framework of movies and broadcast programs and the precious media-assets in itself, it has been born to be thrown away on the completion of movies and TV programs. Here I focus on the structure of cultural assets archiving of scenarios, disserting the challenges and future of it. Specifically, by using the following three kinds of preceding theories; the concept of scenario-archiving proposed by Akira BABA, at the University of Tokyo, cultural assets archiving theory by Shunya YOSHIMI, at the University of Tokyo, and the recording life cycle theory by Chiyoko OGAWA, at Documenting Japan International, I will create the new model for the scenario-archiving. Standing on this model, I will take one step further; by introducing the functions and characteristics of motion picture linked scenario search engine which I developed, I will mention the vista for the scenario-archiving.
