We have not had a rational method to determine the hight and site of sabo-dams and alignment of channels. When condition is complicated, hydraulic model experiments have been executed to help the decision of sabo structure arrangement. If the condition, however, is very wide or the dimension of structures can be changeable, it is sometimes difficult economically and phisically to execute the experiments under the all conditions. It is much better to estimate river bed change by river bed change calculation method with an electric computer firstly. Selecting good cases from among them, some hydraulic model experiments should be carried out under the conditions. This paper is includes the method to get the final sabo structure arrangement plan with hydraulic model tests and river bed change calculation. It is explained through a specific example.
