A lot of wooden house collapsed in the southern part of Hyogo Prefecture earthquake and earthquake countermeasures for wooden house are important problems. On the other hand, global warming is a serious problem and it is a pressing need to decrease the amount of the exhaust of carbon dioxide that is contributes to global warming most. We propose the index to evaluate earthquake countermeasures for wooden house from the viewpoint of carbon dioxide emissions.
