In 1986 the breakthrough for Vietnam’s economic development occurred, started by the “Doi Moi” -Renovation Policy. Hanoi capital, after the “Doi Moi”, has had three reconstructions to meet the increasing demands of dramatic socio-economic expansion. This research concentrates on analysing Hanoi’s three reconstructions, Urban policy, Law and urban growth changes of Hanoi over time, after the Renovation mentioned above. The results showed visually the rapid characteristic of latest reconstructions.
