PA03 電子ビーム露光法による極微細溝での液晶配向特性の検討(物理・物性)

抄録

We have investigated liquid crystal alignment under ultra-fine micro-groove surfaces. The nanometer-sized pattern was formed using the electron beam exposure method. Twisted nematic cell was made and azimuthal anchoring energy was measured. Theoretical calculation was carried out from Berreman's groove theory and these values are compared with the experimental results.
