抄録

In the case studies of Taishido and Kitazawa,the authors investigated the structure of consciousness of improving residential environmental quality and willingness to participate in the projects based on questionnaire sheet surveys. The results are as follows; (1)Learning the usefulness of the project and the way how to participate is necessary. (2)The lack of public relation and the time restriction interrupts citizens to participate the learning occasions. (3) lnformations relating to the house-building for the owner-occupied are useful for project.(4)The style of supplying information should differ according to the personality of citizens. The information is shown to be effective particularly for those who get on poorly with their neighbors.
